Speaking Of Internet

I admire this guy, Zakir Naik. Though many disagree with me, telling me how he's such a political religious advisor and nothing more than a rattler, I think he is quite a genius. But I thought to myself, I'll test his credibility. So I got a copy of the Holy Qura'an near me and I sat listening to his lecture. I dug up only a couple of references and it was enough to flabbergast me. The scientfic facts in the Qura'an are evident and if only those who never read it could see! The people attending the lecture were giving out those small hysterical laughs that you give out when you see something that just...gets you. I can take not only this blog, but a million others like it to talk about this man, and it won't do him any justice.

The internet is full of lovely things that you may need to view from time to time. But my general advice would be not to trust everything you Google-search, who knows when you will end up at UnCyclopedia and thinking it's such a great resource!

I have a horrible flu these days. I've been drinking hot beverages like mad for a couple of hours. Tea, Peppermint Drink, Hot Chocolate among others...Starting to get bored. Anyhow...I had a particularly noteable discussion with an elder friend of mine today about Islam and the right of women in Islam. At the end of dicussion I found myself subconciously remembering the famous verse of the Holy Qura'an, 'You shall not guide the ones you love to the righteous path of Islam, but Allah shall guide whoever he wants'. Alas, all I can do is to pray to her that may be one day she will think of joining Islam!

One more thing I must say here is that whoever thinks having an argument is nothing more than self-satisfaction is quite ignorant! When you're in an argument, you get to learn a huge lot from whoever you're arguing with much like they get to learn from you. It is a process of mutual learning far more than a process of feeling proud or arrogant with knowledge.

Friends, I have to leave now,
May Allah take care of you at all times!
